You will receive three quotes from three different moving companies (muuv, Veteran Movers, and Roadway Moving).
This will depend on the size and complexity of the move. Normally, the moving company can use Facetime, Zoom, WhatsApp or just a phone call to provide a guaranteed and accurate estimate. Sometimes, the company will send over a representative to understand the scope of the work.
You can schedule an appointment within 5-10 min or upon requested date and time. The consultation will take 5-15 minutes. After gathering needed basic information, the representative will ask you to walk through the apartment / home with the camera on to see the items to be moved. Opening closets, cabinets, etc. will help. Please have an idea on what you plan to move or what you plan to keep / dispose. They can assist with disposal / donations as well. If you’re too busy, you can send pictures or videos of your space.
To provide the quote: Mon-Fri 6-7; Sat, 9-5.
Yes, we do offer afternoon and weekend moves. We will ask you to check with each building management about any time or day restrictions as well. We do not work on Sunday or National holidays.
Yes: they do not move any liquids, hazardous materials and perishable food. Some states have restrictions on moving live plants. Please ask the consultant for clarifications.
Yes. There are all fully legitimate companies licensed by all the needed government bodies.
The moving company offers insurance for the goods during transportation. The representative can go over with you on all the options available.
